Mirpur railway station is old, but now people from Mirpur upazila and Daulatpur upazilas and some parts of Meherpur district are daily traveling from the Mirpur railway station to different places of the country, notably in Rajshahi and Dhaka, more people from the Mirpur Railway Station are involved. Kushtia is a district under Khulna Division. The adjoining districts of Kushtia district are - Rajshahi, Natore, Pabna, Chuadanga, Jhenaidah, Rajbari and Meherpur. Rajshahi, Natore, Pabna, Chuadanga, Jhenaidah, Rajbari and Meherpur, if all these districts travel by train, then go through Mirpur, Kushtia railway station.
